Ingredients:

1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbl ketchup
1 tbl cider vinegar
2 x cloves garlic -- minced
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 lb ground beef
1 x (8 oz) can crushed pineapple - drained
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine first 5 ingredients in a small mixing bowl; blend well. Set mixture aside.

Combine ground beef, pineapple, salt, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper in a bowl. Shape into 6 patties. Wrap bacon around edge of each patty, and secure with a wooden pick. Place patties in a shallow 2-quart dish. Pour soy sauce mixture over patties; cover and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes.

Place patties on broiler rack; spoon marinade over meat. Broil 5 inches from heat 12 minutes, turning once. Remove picks.

Yield: 6 servings. RDJ
