Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream shortening and sugar. Add all dry ingredients along with eggs. Mix well. Add bananas, dates and nuts. Add beer, mix well. Add vanilla. Bake in large tube pan at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.

This is a super moist cake. You can top a slice with a dab of whipped cream but really needs nothing else and will end up being one of your favorites.
