Instructions: 1 Cook potatoes 15-20 mins, drain and cool 2. cook carrots 15 mins drain and cool
3. cook beetroot if necessary 25 mins drain and cool 4. Grate potato in wizzer - place in layer on serving plate pat down gently! 5. Chop herring (salted so dont need extra salt), layer on potatoes but slightly smaller to start building mountain 6. sprinkle on chopped dill 7. finely chop onion and make next slightly smaller layer, pat down 8. grate eggs and form next layer 9. grate carrots for next layer, pat down 10. grate beets and form last layer by covering whole mountain to form a red coat. 11. spoon mayonnaise over top, cover loosely and refrigerate, preferablty overnight Mayonnaise should go a lovely pink! Sprinkle with black pepper, garnish with dill and lemon wedges and serve with brown bread. Email this Recipe:
