Instructions: Heat oil to boiling. Sift flour onto a flat plate. Whisk the egg whites very stiffly. Fold in the cheese, ham and seasoning. Dredge spoonfuls of the mixture in flour and carefully place them in the hot fat. Deep fry until the fritters are golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately. For an extra treat using a shaker can I sprinkle then with a mixture of cinnamon & powdered sugar.
