Instructions: In a medium bowl, mix bananas, sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Stir in buttermilk.
In a small bowl, stir soda, salt and flour together. Add to banana mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 9- by 5- by 3-inch loaf pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
