Instructions: Sift dry ingredients together; set aside. Combine margarine, sugar and egg with vanilla in a second bowl. Cream on high speed. Add sour cream and half of flour mixture, blend on medium speed 1 minute. Add remaining flour mixture, mixing by hand.

Divide dough in half; roll on floured surface to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes on greased sheet. Cookies may be iced with favorite frosting.
