Yield:
2 dozen large cookies
Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup margarine, butter or shortening
1 cup sugar
1 x egg
1/4 cup molasses
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt; set aside. Beat margarine, butter or shortening on low for 30 seconds to soften. Add sugar, beat until fluffy. Add egg and molasses; beat well.

Stir in dry ingredients. Shape into balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Dont over bake.

Makes 2
dozen large cookies. I have wrapped these large cookies individually and mailed them to family for Christmas.
