1 cup onion, chopped
2 x cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lb ground chuck
1/4 lb Italian sausage
8 oz Vermicelli pasta, cooked
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 can tomato sauce, (15 oz.)
1/2 cup tomato juice
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 lb Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions:
Instructions: Brown onion, garlic, beef, and sausage in a large skillet. Drain grease and add the tomato sauce and juice, salt, pepper, and oregano. Simmer for 1 hour. (Sauce should thicken considerably.) Cook Vermicelli and drain.

First, layer 1/2 pasta in a buttered glass dish (9x13). Next, layer 1/2 of the Ricotta cheese, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat, and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
