Instructions: Place the chopped celery, shredded lettuce, grated carrots, and pickled herring in a salad bowl. Pour on the French salad dressing and chili sauce. Toss to combine, and serve immediately - with a bit of toast and cheese, if so desired.
Kitchen Staff Tip: To prepare a tasty French Dressing, simply combine 1 cup olive oil, 1/3 cup chili sauce, 1/3 cup dark brown sugar, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/3 cup tarragon vinegar, the juice of 1 lemon, and 1/3 cup chopped onion in a blender.
