Instructions: Sort and rinse the beans. Soak the beans in a large pan with the water overnight; drain.
Saute the bacon, onion and garlic in a large saucepan for 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent. Add the chili powder and cumin. Cook for 1 minute longer. Add the beans and chicken stock. Simmer for 1 hour. Pour the mixture into a food processor. Process until pureed. Stir in the cilantro, lime juice and salt. Email this Recipe:
