Instructions: In saucepan, mix corn syrup, sugar, water, salt and butter. Bring to a boil, until sugar is dissolved. Add walnuts, cook and stir constantly, until small amount of candy separates into hard brittle threads when dropped into cold water
(300 degrees on a candy thermometer). Add vanilla and pour onto buttered cookie sheet to cool. When cold, break into pieces. Email this Recipe:
