NOTES : I grew up on this sauce, so I love it. When I make it for others, they either LOVE it or HATE it. Not much middle ground. When I make it for my wife, (the kids wont touch it) I add chopped stewed tomatos and a lot of sweet basil. When my mother and father split up, he had his lawyer put it in the court papers, that my mother had to give him a copy of the recipe.
