Instructions: Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 6.
Unroll the pastry and cut in half lengthways. Then cut each length into four small rectangles and lay them all on a greased baking sheet. Next core the apples and cut in half then cut each half into fine segments. Lay the apple slices in a bank of overlapping segments across each rectangle of pastry sprinkle with sugar and allspice and dot with butter. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until puffed and golden. Meanwhile beat together the two cheeses and warm the honey with 1 tsp of water. Once the tarts are cooked smear each one with a generous swathe ofcreamed cheese top with a pile of blueberries and spoon over some liquid Ty to eat when freshly baked. These are perfect if you want something ready portioned and ready to go. Cheese with tart may sound a bit odd but actually makes perfect sense; think cheesecake think apple and cheese theyre made for each other. Each chomp is a sweet tart fruity flaky. mouthful.. No cream required. Golden delicious may well be frowned upon as an eating apple but they are excellent in tarts as they hold their shape when cooked. Makes 8 pastries Email this Recipe:
