1 loaf French bread
4 x eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbl melted butter for topping
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut 3/4-inch bread slices. Place on a baking sheet. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, baking powder and vanilla. Pour over the bread. Cover with wrap and let set for 1 1/2 hours or overnight in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Butter a 9x13-inch pan. Place berries, sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch in the pan stirring to coat the berries. Place bread wettest side up on berries. You may not use all the bread. Brush top with butter. Bake for 25 minutes. Top with powdered sugar before serving.

Makes 6 servings with 2 pieces each.
