4 cup blueberries fresh
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbl orange peel grated
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
Instructions:
Instructions: In a skillet, combine blueberries, sugar adn water; bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes. In a bowl, combine the next six ingredients; stir in milk just until moistened (dough will be stiff). Drop by tablespoonfuls over blueberries. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until dumplings are puffed and test done. Serve warm with cream if desired.
