Instructions: Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry. Fill. Sprinkle with lemon juice; dot with 1 tablespoon butter (in 4 pieces around pie). Adjust top crust, cutting slits for escape of steam.
Seal. Brush with milk and sprinkle a couple of pinches of sugar onto top of crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm if desired. Email this Recipe:
