1/2 tsp Active dry yeast
3 cup Bread flour
1 tsp lemon peel dried
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tbl Sugar
1 x Egg
2 tbl Butter
6 oz milk warmed
2 oz Warm water
1/2 tbl Chopped almonds
1/2 tbl Raisins
----------------- 1-LB. LOAF ----------------
1 tsp Active dry yeast
2 cup Bread flour
1/2 tsp lemon peel dried
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tbl Sugar
1 x Egg
1/2 tbl Butter
1/2 cup milk warmed
1/2 oz Warm water
3 tbl Chopped almonds
Instructions:
Instructions: NOTES: 1. For Panasonic/National machines - use 3 tsp. of yeast for the 1 1/2 lb. loaf.

2. If your machine has a mix cycle - the almonds and raisins can be added at the beginning or at the mix beep. They can also be added towards the end of the mixing process.

Because this bread is an extremely high rise, a 1-pound loaf will easily fill a large bread-machine bucket. Test the small recipe first to see how the loaf rises in your machine.

Follow manufacturers directions on loading.

NOTES : This delightful bread is great for parties and celebrations. The raisins and nuts give it a festive flavor and texture thats hard to beat.
