1/2 cup Water
2 pkt Instant chicken-flavored broth mix
1 tbl Lemon juice, fresh, not bottled
1 tbl Margarine
1 sm Bay leaf
1/4 cup Plus
2 tbl Golden raisins (Sultanas)
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine all ingredients EXCEPT RICE in a 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over med-high heat. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low, cover & simmer until all liquid is absorbed, 50-60 minutes. (Check after 45-50 minutes; add boiling water if rice seems too dry). Remove & discard bay leaf before serving.
