Instructions: In a blender or food processor, puree 1/4 c. chickpeas with garlic and egg substitute. In a large bowl, mash remaining chickpeas, rice, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, carrot, onion, salt and pepper. Add pureed mixture and stir until well-combined. Form mixture into 8 patties.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Cook patties for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. 8-4 oz patties. Email this Recipe:
