Instructions: Combine all ingredients except water and corn starch in 1/2 gallon zip lock bag. Add good quality beef steaks and remove as much air as possible from bag before sealing. Store in refrigerator at least one day (two is better). Remove steaks from marinade to grill or broiler. While steaks are cooking, place marinade in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium low heat stirring constantly. Boil for at least two minutes. Mix corn starch and water and slowly add to marinade to thicken to taste.
Serve with steaks and a smile. If S&W Mesquite marinade is not available, I think I would try a smaller amount of liquid smoke. I havent tried this, but it should work OK. Email this Recipe:
