Instructions: Combine flour salt and soda. Cream shortening, adding sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Stir in mincemeat.

Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well. Drop by teaspoonsful about 2" apart on greased baking sheat. Bake in hot oven about 400 degrees 12 mins.

Makes 48 cookies.

**These resemble a raisin cookie in flavor. If using homemade mincemeat, add some sugar-I recommend the jar mince instead for a fruity taste.
