Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all of the ingredients, except the Seitan in a skillet with a heavy bottom and a tight lid. Cook gently for 20 to 30 minutes. Spread 1/2 of the onion mixture on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer the Seitan slices and spread the remaining onions on top. Add enough water or stock to barely cover the onions and bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes. Email this Recipe:
