Instructions: Cream shortening and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each.

Sift dry ingredients, add raisins, nuts and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.

Drop
from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Or wrap in foil and freezze dough; bake a few dozen at a time.
