Instructions: Dissolve dry yeast, and sugar in warm water. Let stand 10 min. In large bowl dissolve 2 tablespoons salt and 1/8 cup sugar in 3 1/2 cups warm water. When dissolved add 1 heaping T. lard and the yeast. Add 4 cups flour, stir real good, then add 8 more cup flour. Mix and knead well, put in greased bowl, and let stand 45 minutes. Knead down and let rise 45 minutes again. Then work out in 4 loaves in greased pans. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1/4 hour. Put on a cloth to cool, cover with cloth till just warm, then put in plastic bags.
