Ingredients:

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
3 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup melted butter
1/2 cup molasses
4 x eggs, beaten
1 cup plumped raisins
1 tbl pure vanilla extract
5 cup cubed stale French bread, (5 to 6)
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 F.

In a large bowl, mix together the first six ingredients. In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients, except the sweet cream. Add the milk mixture to the dry mixture and stir until well combined.

Pour the mixture into a 2 1/2- to 3-quart casserole dish and bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve warm with the sweet cream.

YIELD: 8 SERVINGS
