I "save" in an airtight container, all the crusts from my loaves of bread, especially the wheat! I dry them in the oven, on a low temp. and then grind them with one of those old fashioned food grinders. Of course, there are electric ones to use now, but I like the "action" on the old grinders. Add to crumbs: (to make approx. 1 qt.) Toss bread crumbs with other ingredients. Email this Recipe:
