Instructions: Wipe meat, place in large pan add cold water to cover, bring to a boil and skim off fat.
Add onion and seasonings and continue to simmer until meat is tender. About 2 hours. Tranfer the meat and 1/4 of the liquid to another pan. (The remaining liquid mak a strong broth to garish with noodles and serve as soup.) To the meat add the sauerkraut, potato, and apple. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and simmer all together for 15 minutes. Email this Recipe:
