Instructions: 1. Trim the broccoli.
2. Separate the heads into florets and thinly slice the stalks. 3. Melt the butter in a heavy based saucepan and gently fry the onion for 5 minutes. 4. Add the broccoli and cook for 5 minutes. 5. Stir in the cheese and milk and stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens. 6. Taste and adjust the seasoning. 7. Remove the pan from the heat and toss the sauce with freshly cooked pasta and the walnuts. 8. Serve with grated parmesan. NOTES : Try this sauce with farfalle. Email this Recipe:
