Instructions: Place flounder on greased tin foil (cookie sheet underneath). Set broiler at 225 degrees, and broil flounder for 10 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt enough butter to cover flounder, and add chopped garlic and lemon pepper. After flounder has broiled for 10 minutes, cover it with onion rings, then pour butter mixture over all. Broil 12 more minutes and serve with sliced lemon. For those of you who havent eaten flat fish, use a metal spatula to pull fins away from the outside. Using your spatula again, slice fish down the middle and pull to each side. This will leave the bones exposed. Simply lift the bones out gently and they will come out in one piece, leaving a fillet on bottom. You may cook a flounder with its head on, although you may want to talk to someone about this later.
