Instructions: (To make coconut milk finely grate a fresh coconut add 150ml of hot water and squeeze to extract the thick milk. You should get roughly 300ml of coconut milk from a coconut.)
Cook the broken wheat in the water until soft. Stir in the jaggery and cook until blended. Add the coconut milk and cardamom powder. Bring to the boil once and remove from the heat. Serve warm. This is a pudding from south India and is made on festive occasions. Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
