4 x Catfish fillets, (6 oz. each)
1/4 cup Butter or margarine, melted
4 tsp Magic seasoning blends seafood magic, or
1 tsp Salt, and
1 tsp Onion powder, and
1 tsp Ground red pepper, and
1 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Garlic powder, and
1/2 tsp Thyme
Lemon wedges
Instructions:
Instructions: 1. Brush both sides of fish with butter, then coat both sides with seasonings.

2. Heat 10-inch cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until smoking, 3 to 5 minutes. Add 2 fillets and cook until just opaque at center, about 2 minutes per side. Keep warm in oven and repeat with remaining fillets.

Serve with lemon wedges and Hushpuppies.

Notes: Bronzed catfish is a lighter, faster, simpler version of the traditional blackened dish. Preheating your cast-iron skillet is essential.
