Instructions: *If snow peas are not available, substitute asparagus spears, broccoli florets, green beans or fresh or frozen peas - cook them until barely tender
In large pot, combine rice, water and salt and bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes until rice is fluffy and water has been absorbed. Cook snow peas in steamer basket over hot water until barely tender. Do not overcook. Spoon rice onto heated platter and arrange snow peas on top. Email this Recipe:
