Instructions: Cream crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift flour with soda and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture gradually. Add pecans. Form into 1" x 16" rolls. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill. Slice 1/4" thick and bake at 375 degrees about 12 min.
