4 x thick slices Italian country bread (best if day-old)
1 x clove garlic
1/2 lb baby spinach young asparagus or
broccoli rabe
NapaStyle Late-Harvest Unfiltered Extra
Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions:
Instructions: Place bread on a grill pan, or toast or broil until the slices are well browned on both sides. Peel and cut in half the clove of garlic and rub over both sides of each bread slice. Blanch spinach, asparagus, or broccoli rabe, and place on top of the bread. Generously drizzle each slice with olive oil and a dash of gray salt.
