Instructions: Mix the milk, oil, sugar and salt together and cool to lukewarm. Crumble into the mixture. Crumble the yeast into the mixture. Add the eggs and flour.
Mix to soft dough. Turn out onto floured board and knead until smooth and elastic and not sticky. Place in greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth. Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and let rest for 10 minutes. Melt the butter in small pan. Mix together the sugar, chopped nuts, cinnamon and raisins. Make dough into small balls (size of walnuts). Roll each one in butter, then in the sugar mixture. Place in greased angel food cake pan in staggered rows and layers until all your dough is used. Let rise, then bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Turn out onto plate. Do not cut to serve; just pull off a bubble. Starla Hoschak Email this Recipe:
