Instructions: Boil the beans in plenty of water until very soft.
Drain. Knead all the ingredients (including the beans) except the flour and oil into a stiff dough. Make equal sized balls of this dough and flaken slightly. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Roll each patty in the flour shake off any excess and shallow fry until crisp and brown. This second recipe can be made from the leftovers of Poatao and butter beans with a few additions.
