Instructions: Drain a 400g can of butter beans. Fry 4 tbsps of sesame seeds in a dry frying pan for about 3 minutes, stirring until golden. Puree the beans in a food processor or blender with the sesame seeds, two chopped garlic cloves, 4 tbsps of fresh lemon juice and salt and pepper. With the motor running gradually add 125ml/ 4 fl oz olive oil.

Serve with raw vegetable sticks and grissini breadsticks.
