1 tablespoon 1 teaspoon 1 tablespoon 3/4 teaspoon 2 tablespoons 2 teaspoons 2 tablespoons 1 1/2 teaspoons 1/4 cup 4 teaspoons 1/4 cup 1 tablespoon (1/2 stick) (1/2 env) 1/2 cup 8 teaspoons 1/2 cup 2 tablespoons (1 stick) (1 env) 1 cup 2 env 1 cup 1/4 cup (2 sticks) For most cooking purposes, butter, margarine, and oil can be replaced with an equivalent amount of Butter Buds. For best results with baked goods, experiment by substituting 25 to 100 percent of the fat in a recipe with and equivalent amount of Butter Buds (see chart).
