2/3 cup butter flavor Crisco
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 x eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Instructions: PRALINE FROSTING:
1/2 c butter flavor Crisco
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/4 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 to 3-1/2 c confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 13x9 pan. Cream Crisco, sugars, eggs and vanilla till light and fluffy. Add buttermilk, flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Beat at low speed till blended. Beat at med. speed 2 minutes. Stir in pecans. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 min, till toothpick tests clean. Cool before frosting.

PRALINE FROSTING

1/2 c butter flavor Crisco
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/4 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 to 3-1/2 c confectioners sugar

In small saucepan combine Crisco and pecans. Cook over med heat till Crisco is melted. Blend in milk and vanilla. Transfer to bowl. Add Confectioners sugar one cup at a time, beating at medium speed till it reaches the desired consistency.
