Instructions: If butter is hard, soften by warming in microwave for 4 min. at 10% power.
Cream butter, icing sugar and vanilla together. Add in flour and mix well. Add in nuts and continue mixing until a smooth dough forms. Roll into 1-inch balls and place about 1-1/2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 deg. F for 15-18 min. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for about 2 min., then roll immediately and carefully in icing sugar. Makes about 30-36 butterballs. /CANDY Email this Recipe:
