Instructions: Drained and rinse beans with cold water and drained again.
Reserve butter beans. Saute onions, peppers and celery in butter and bacon drippings over low heat until soft. Add garlic (optional), tomato sauce, paprika, sugar, salt and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Combine beans and sauce mixture in a 9x13 baking dish or pan. Bake at 350 Degrees F. for about 25 minutes. Add Topping: Top with the grated cheese. Cover with crumbled Ritz cracker crumbs. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 Degrees F. until sauce thickens and topping is golden brown-about 20 more minutes. Email this Recipe:
