3 cup sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
1 cup margarine
5 x eggs
3 cup flour, sifted
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp lemon extract
----------------- GLAZE ----------------
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 stk margarine
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tbl corn syrup
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream sugar, Crisco, and margarine. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add 1 cup flour and baking soda. Add buttermilk, salt & lemon extract. Add remaining 2 cups flour. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or when cake tests done.

Cool in pan 10 minutes. 31

Glaze:
Combine all ingredients in saucepan and mix well. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over warm cake.
