Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a heavy baking sheet.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, thyme, sage, salt and pepper. 3. In a small bowl, combine the buttermilk, oil and scallions. Pour into the flour mixture and stir just until a soft dough forms. 4. Drop the dough by heaping tablespoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. 5. Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, until the biscuits are lightly browned on top. Serve warm. Makes about one dozen. Email this Recipe:
