2 med butternut squashes peeled, seeded,
and cut into pieces about 2"
Salt
Butter (optional)
Instructions:
Instructions: Steam butternut squash above boiling water, covered, until tender, about 12 minutes. Puree. Salt lightly. If squash is just right you wont need to add anything else, but sometimes a small bit of butter and honey are needed. Serve hot.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
