Instructions: Put the shredded cabbage into a bowl. Add the salt and toss to distribute evenly. Leave for 1 hr and squeeze to remove the liquid.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add cabbage and season with black pepper. Toss to distribute evenly. Cover and cook over very low heat for 20 mins, or until the cabbage is tender. Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and add to cooked cabbage. Serve warm. My note: I added 1 Tbs of caraway seeds. NOTES : I like this dish as a main course or even as a side dish.
