Melt butter in a pot, add onion and bacon, cook 3 minutes to lightly colour. Add cabbage, continue to cook 3-4 minutes until cabbage begins to wilt. Add stock and sugar, simmer gently 30 minutes until cabbage is tender. Stir in cream and season well. Email this Recipe:
