Instructions: In a large saucepan or Dutch oven brown meat in oil. Sprinkle with flour and mix well. Add onions and cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, carrots, potato, salt, thyme, Tabasco sauce and bay leaf. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf before serving.
