Instructions: In a skillet saute the onion, bell pepper, celery and mushrooms in the butter until they are tender but not mushy. Add the rice and water. Stir. Add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, cayenne and salt. Mix well. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover tightly and simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. Preheat oven to 375?. Place the sheets of puff pastry on a cutting surface and cut each sheet into 12 squares. Place rice mixture (turnovers are easier to shape if rice is chilled) in the center of each square. Fold dough over to form a triangle and press with a fork to seal the edges. Brush tops of turnovers with the beaten egg. Place triangles on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 13 minutes.
