1/2 cup unsifted flour
1 cup oats
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup golden raisins
1 x (6 ounce) package dried apricots, chopped (1 cup)
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass dish). In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, wheat germ, margarine and vanilla; mix until crumbly. Reserving 1/2 cup crumb mixture, press remainder on bottom of 13X9 inch baking pan. In large bowl, combine nuts, raisins, apricots and sweetened condensed milk; spoon evenly over crust. Top with reserved crumb mixture; press down firmly. Bake 25 minutes or until
edges are lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature.
