Instructions: Drain peaches and sprinkle lightly with flour. Sift flour with salt and baking powder. Add well-beaten eggs, melted shortening and milk. Mix well.
With a long-handles fork, dip fruit into batter. Allow excess batter to drain off. Lower fruit into hot oil (375) and fry 2-3 minutes or until light brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Email this Recipe:
